Sparrow & Barbossa are a Madrid-based duo formed by Swiss pianist Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan percussionist Emiliano Haberli. Blending organic instruments with electronic sounds, their music fuses Afro, Latin, and world influences into house music. They broke through with “Yeke” (2018) and Fatoumata Diawara’s “Nterini” remix (2020), followed by their acclaimed debut album Seven Seas (2021) on Redolent Music, featuring collaborations with Dele Sosimi, Josh Milan, and Idd Aziz. Their track “Morena” became an Ibiza anthem, championed by Keinemusik. In 2022, they launched their own label Tortuga Tribes, supporting Latin American artists. Their second album Réciprocité (2023) on Sony’s Orianna label features Starving Yet Full, Maria De Moraes, Phindile Ndlovu, and remixes by Monkey Safari, Boddhi Satva, and Amine K.
