Kasango (Kasmario Thulani Ike Fankis) is a South African DJ and producer from Welkom, Free State. Discovering house music at 16 and inspired by legends like Black Coffee, he quickly turned his passion into a career.His debut “One Night” (2019) gained recognition on Black Coffee’s Appreciation Mix, followed by the hit “Osama” with Grammy-winner Zakes Bantwini, which earned BBC Radio 1’s Essential New Tune from Pete Tong. In 2024, Tong awarded him another ENT for his remix of TMPLE. Now a truly global artist, Kasango’s infectious energy and unique sound have taken him to stages across every continent, making him one of South Africa’s rising stars in house music.
