At Soluna, every experience begins with a simple belief: the world feels smaller when people gather together. Through food, music, design, and storytelling, we create places where strangers become friends and moments become memories. It’s a belief that shapes everything we create.
Nowhere does that happen better than at the EX.
This summer, Soluna brings two original pop-up experiences to the Better Living Centre from August 21st – September 7th.
The Experiences
Two ways to spend your summer, day and night
Layla's Garden
Layla’s Garden is a sprawling open-air patio and fully licensed cafe, where guests can enjoy shaded seats, great food, ice-cold drinks, and live music beneath the summer sky from day into night.
Hidden just beyond is Majnoon, an intimate speakeasy bar (19+) inspired by the timeless legend of Layla and Majnun: the Middle Eastern “Romeo & Juliet”. Majnoon combines handcrafted cocktails, music and immersive storytelling to create one of the most unique nightlife experiences at the CNE.
Layla’s Garden and Majnoon are inspired by the timeless legend of Layla and Majnun: the Middle Eastern “Romeo & Juliet”. A love story first told in Arabic, embraced across Persia and South Asia, eventually making its way to the streets of 1970’s London, where it inspired Eric Clapton’s classic song “Layla”.
The story of Layla and Manjun proves that love belongs to no single country, but to everyone who carries it in their hearts.
There’s still something beautifully Canadian about that.
A Toronto Summer Tradition
Why the CNE
For nearly 150 years, the Canadian National Exhibition has brought Canadians together through shared experiences, traditions, food, and entertainment. As Canada continues to evolve, we’re excited to contribute to that tradition by creating spaces where people gather, connect, and celebrate together.
